Privacy
The V Fan Site is an independent fan site. This notice is written for the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR. It is not a certificate, and it is not legal advice.
Who is responsible
The site owner is Aston Kennedy. Privacy requests go through the contact form, which emails sales@domaininvestors.co.uk. There is no separate data-protection officer and no EU representative listed on this site.
What is stored
- Account: email from Gmail, a company email, or Google, plus the profile name and handle you set. A welcome email is sent to that address once.
- Forum topics, replies, reports, directory listings, and guest posts or press releases you submit. These stay private until a moderator approves them.
- Contact messages: the name, email, and message you type. Contact form messages are delivered by email to our team.
- A sign-in cookie, or a session token in the browser while you are signed in. The language choice and the cookie-notice choice are stored in the browser.
Why
An account is needed to post, reply, list a business, or send a guest post. That processing is necessary to provide the account you asked for. The contact form is used to answer the message you send. The sign-in cookie is strictly necessary for that account. Payment, if you choose a paid listing or guest post, is taken through our secure card payment provider. This site does not store your card number.
Who else sees it
Your email is not shown on public pages. Your profile name and handle are shown on posts after they are approved. Moderators see submissions before they are public. Google handles Google sign-in. Our secure card payment provider handles payment. Contact form messages are delivered by email to our team. This site does not sell personal information and does not use advertising or analytics cookies.
How long
Account details and the content you submit are kept while the account is in use. You can ask for the account or a post to be removed from the account page or the contact form. The sign-in record with Google is also held by Google. There is no automatic deletion clock on this site.
Your rights
Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you can ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, and, where it applies, a copy of the data you provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw from optional contact by not using the form. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, or to the supervisory authority in your EU country.
User content
Posts, listings, and articles are submitted by members and approved before they are public. To report a post, use the report control on that page or the contact form. A moderator can reject, unpublish, lock, or remove it. This is not a claim that the site is a regulated online platform under the EU Digital Services Act.
