Mo Adeniran and the first later series

The show left television and opened later in 2017. The blind audition came with it. Mo Adeniran won that first later series. For fans who date the programme by channel, he is the start of the second era, not a footnote to the early list.

A channel move is easy to overstate. The chairs were still red. The coaches still faced away. The battles still cut a team in half. What changed was the broadcaster, the surrounding adverts, and, over time, the hosts and the panel. Emma Willis became the presenter most later viewers attach to the later years.

Mo Adeniran's win is the competition result for that handover year. Fans who watched both eras can argue about whether the show felt the same. The result itself is not an argument. It is the name at the end of series six.

Later later winners follow him on this site in their own pieces. He stays the first of that run.
