Series 2, in 2013, was won by Andrea Begley. Leah McFall was runner-up. Matt Henry and Mike Ward were the other finalists.

Henry’s work after the show was in musical theatre. He won an Olivier Award for his performance in Dreamgirls. That is a different room from a Saturday night final, and it is the room where his career settled.

Leah McFall also kept working as a singer. Neither of them needed the trophy for the series to have been the start.
