Jermain Jackman and series three

Jermain Jackman won the third series. By then the show had a pattern a viewer could recite: blinds, battles, knockouts, live shows, a final. He came through that pattern and was the last singer standing.

A winner from the middle early years is easy to lose if a fan site only talks about the first night and the latest coach. Series three is part of the same programme. The chair was the same idea. The panel was not the 2012 panel. The winner was his own singer, not a sequel.

What travels, years later, is the voice people think they can still hear. Memory is not a recording. Fans will disagree about which performance was the one. The disagreement belongs in the forum, with spoilers marked if you are talking through an episode someone has not seen.

This article keeps the result and the year. It does not invent a story about what he was promised after the final. Those promises, when shows make them, are for the people who were in the room.
