Blessing Chitapa wins series nine

Blessing Chitapa won series nine. Fans who rank winners — and fans always rank winners — often put a series-nine performance in the conversation. Ranking is a hobby, not a fact. The fact is the result.

A 'finished voice' is the phrase viewers use when a singer does not sound like they are still finding the song on the night. It is a compliment and it is also a matter of taste. Another viewer wanted a different style from the same series and is not wrong inside their own ear. The forum is where those ears argue.

Series nine sits in the later stretch, after Molly Hocking and before the winners of the following years. Keeping the order straight matters more than a mood piece. People searching the site want the year and the name.
